Paycheck Protection Program: Deadline Reminder and New Interim Rules
The deadline to apply and be approved for a Paycheck Protection Program loan is Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Clients still considering applying for a PPP loan should request any payroll data they may need from MBA now.
The SBA has released two new Interim Rules for the PPP this week. The first rule, which can be found here, provides additional guidance regarding ownership compensation, the loan forgiveness process, and the other changes under the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act (PPPFA). The second rule, which can be found here, provides eligibility requirements for owners with criminal convictions.
